Job Description: The Collections Group is charged with maintaining control of the booked portfolio by minimizing delinquency rates and charge-offs. The Collector will contact customers for monies past due on their accounts and negotiate payment plans. ~ Ability to handle 250 to 350 30-day and 60-day past due accounts ~ Ability to negotiate payment plans ~ Experienced in skip tracing accounts ~ Knowledge of collection and re-possession laws on the federal, state and local level
Job Requirements ~ 1 to 3 years experience as a Collector, preferably in an indirect automobile operation ~ Excellent negotiation and communications skills ~ Strong PC and MS Office skills ~ High School diploma or equivalent |
