Senior Accountant

Flagship Credit Corporation, an innovative and growing auto finance company, is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. Conveniently located near Wilmington, DE and Philadelphia, PA, the company seeks highly motivated, self-starters who can thrive in a rapidly growing environment.

This position will work in a team environment, the responsibilities for this team include, but not limited to, the following:

General Ledger :

~ Prepare account reconciliations for all balance sheet and selected income statement accounts.

~ Prepare month end journal entries.

~ Prepare monthly management reporting package.

~ Review servicer daily general ledger interface.

~ Special projects has required.

 

Accounts Payable

~ Review, code and process A/P check requests.

~ Vendor maintenance. Process A/P checks.

~ Handle internal and external vendor inquires.

~ Maintain A/P files.

~ Process W-9 forms and year end 1099 forms.

 

Cash Management

~ Record miscellaneous cash deposits.

~ Daily cash position reporting.

 

Portfolio Review

~ Analyze loans within our portfolio.

 

Requirements

~ Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience

~ 1-3 years experience

~ Strong analytical and organizational skills

~ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
