Area Sales Manager - Philadelphia, Central and South New Jersey Region (Tri-State Region) Flagship Credit Corporation, a regional non-prime automotive lender, seeks an experienced professional to join its Sales Team as it looks to transform and enhance its position in the market as a leading non-prime consumer finance lender. This position will report directly to the National Sales Manager. As a member of the Sales Team, the Area Sales Manager will develop and maintain relationships with automobile dealerships in the Tri-State region. Candidates should be comfortable with small company environments and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic organization. Key Responsibilities: ~ Sell Flagship’s indirect automobile financing programs to dealers located in the Tri-State region. ~ Manage current dealer relationships while identifying prospective new dealers. ~ Team with Dealer Services to enroll new dealers and train dealer staff on available finance programs. ~ Provide management with market area trends and competitive reports ~ Identify dealers with potential risk and assist with any dealer issues ~ Maintain budget and expenses while exceeding production goals for the territory. Education/Experience Required: ~ High School Diploma or equivalent required, BA/BS preferred. ~ Experience in indirect automobile lending, subprime/nonprime a strong plus. ~ Proven sales and account management experience. ~ Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills ~ 100% local travel with occasional overnight trips. ~ Candidate must currently live in the Philadelphia or Tri-State region. The ideal candidate will have experience in small company environments where creative solutions and cross-functional teams are required. A strong background and understanding of the economics of an auto loan is required. |
